HIGS Photography Competition

There are three judges as follows:

Kate Brierton

Kate is a Clinical Psychologist and trustee of the Eastern Learning Alliance (the trust that runs IVC and the Cavendish School). She has always loved nature and was part of the working group that raised the funds for Abbey Fields and established the charity Histon & Impington Green Spaces. One of her favourite ways to relax is walking in the countryside with her family and dog, Isla.

Katharine Holliday

Katharine has been a trustee of Histon and Impington Green Spaces for two years and a resident of the village for 17 years. She has been actively involved in establishing the village's no-mow verge project, and has a well-loved wildlife garden at home. She spends as much time as she can exploring, photographing and learning about the natural world with her family.

Ian Ellis

Ian is a Consultant Ecologist and a Trustee of Histon and Impington Green Spaces. Ian is a keen ornithologist and entomologist and can often be found documenting birds in his parish of Cottenham. He regularly participates in the "Magical Moths and Beautiful Birds" events held on Croft Close Set-aside, exhibiting the moths he traps both for scientific and educational purposes.
