HIGS Photography Competition
Calendar 2025
The Winners
From Katharine Holliday on behalf of the judging panel:
Thank you for helping select the photograph that will appear on the front cover of the calendar - the one for January taken by Guy Richardson. Many Congratulations Guy!
We are now very pleased to announce the names of the photographers who took the 13 winning photographs - congratulations to all! See below. The voting this year was very close with three photographs standing out from the rest - the other two are the bullfinch (December) by Philip Hughes and the mackerel sky at sunrise over Long Meadow (November) also by Guy Richardson.
A very big thank you to all who entered, there were many excellent photographs. In the coming weeks we will also be featuring some of these on the website that didn’t make it to the winners list. We would also like to say thank you to our calendar sponsors Oakington Garden Centre, Topiary Tree, Camel Projects and Hayward Moon who have generously helped towards the cost of producing the calendar.
The calendar is on sale online.
